UNDERSTAND SLOW FASHION MOVEMENT
The fashion we need is fair, ethical, transparent and sustainable.
Fashion is a force to be reckoned with. Inspire, provoke, lead and captivate. Fashion Revolution believes in the power of the positive transformation of fashion and its main objectives are to raise awareness of the socio-environmental impacts of the sector, celebrate the people behind the clothes, promote transparency and promote sustainability.
The movement was created after a global council of fashion professionals learned of the Rana Plaza building collapse in Bangladesh, which killed 1,134 garment workers and injured more than 2,500. The tragedy occurred on April 24, 2013 and the victims worked for global brands, in conditions analogous to slavery.
The ##WhoMadeMyClothes campaign was created to raise awareness of the true cost of fashion and its impact on the world, at every stage of the production and consumption process. Initially celebrated on April 24, Fashion Revolution Day gained momentum and today has become Fashion Revolution Week, which has activities promoted by volunteer centers in more than 100 countries.
Lavender Dreams is a pajama and home wear brand from Lima-Peru, created in 2016. Our pajamas are classic with a contemporary reading and a comfortable fit. Comfort with quality was our top priority when we defined the brand concept.
We prefer natural fibers. Our main raw material is 100% Pima cotton, a world-renowned fiber. We believe in conscious production and cooperation between local companies, that's why we only use national raw materials and local production.
Our collections cover the segment: sleep, lounge and resort wear. We have developed feminine, comfortable collections with a timeless design to be used on different occasions: staying at home, going for a walk, going to the beach.
We believe in a different way of doing fashion. Fashion is a vehicle of transformation! Project and people envolved in doing things differently.
